So it looks like Fury has successfully upended AJ vs Usyk

All the media is discussing his "retirement" and NSB is currently dominated by Fury threads, not much chatter about AJ and Usyk.

Mission successful for Fury, it amazes me that even after all these years, he can still wrap everybody around his little finger.

Fury is the second ATG boxing troll after Ali.

If he has retired then it is only natural that the media or whoever is going to talk about it. Me personally I don't see much talk.

But I am sure that in the coming days, the boxing worlds main focus will be Joshua vs Fury.

I don't think he has upended Usyk vs Joshua at all.

I'll bet my last pound that Fury fights again, especially if Joshua wins.

Fury is an attention seeker, he always does this stuff before his rivals fight and people fall for it every time!

The "NSB" is a miniscule sample size, and most of the boxing "media" consists of irrelevant YouTube channels run by chancers with cameras. The general public ("casuals") will tune in for AJ, vocal "hardcores" on forums mean nothing.

No one's "falling" for anything. People are discussing his words on a dedicated boxing forum, the general public at large have almost certainly lost track of his chaotic pronouncements. Boxing is a niche sport, and once the Arab sportswashers lose interest the money will dry up too.

              Yeah, not really.

Fury’s “retirement” means nothing. Means about as much as Floyd’s “retirement” ahead of his rematch with Oscar. Everyone knows this means nothing.

Joshua/Usyk means a lot and is a must see for anyone even casually interested in the sport.

He is more talked than Usyk vs AJ lmfao. 10 days left for vacating WBC belt. I think he is waiting outcome of the fight. He won't vacate and will return.

I think if people really want to know what is going on with Fury. You need to wait for a interview with John Fury.

Because I think John Fury will get straight to the point.

I personally just think Fury wants to do his own thing, and create his own fights. I don't think he likes being Champion, the way you are mandated to fight all comers and mandatory challenges.

Fury if he had a choice, I think he would fight Chisora again.

What's bemusing to me is the fanboys interpreting this stuff for the rest of us, because of course they know what Fury really means and thinks despite never having met him.
