You certainly wouldn't see Wilder smiling in his corner disinterested in the fight and getting waved off like AJ did vs Ruiz.

How does the LA area not get a shout out for being among the best boxing cities?

The Wild Card gym is there. The Robert Garcia Boxing Academy is there. The Ten Goose Boxing Gym is there. Bread likes Manny Robles...guess where his Legends Gym is located? The Fortune Gym is there.

Come on, son. Stop with the East Coast bias.

because the topic was where the fighters are FROM. Most of the top level guys training at Freddie's gym or Goosens are not LA natives, they are coming in from other places to train there........

The topic was what city PRODUCES the best fighters. The gyms I mentioned have produced a ton.

But even if you want to go the "where fighters are from" route then that's even easier. The So Cal area doesn't take a backseat when it comes to native sons reaching the upper levels of boxing.

The Breadman is a boxing encyclopaedia and love his mailbag; his pre-fight predictions are second to none. But Gavin Rees fought Broner in the U.S, not Tank Davis.

Agree with Bread, Helenius v Wilder is an excellent match-up that can go one of 3 ways:
1 Wilder ices Robert easily & moves on. Next step Joyce or Parker
2 Wilder beats Robert after a tough battle, possibly having to get off the floor to do it. I think Deontay & his coach but, more importantly, his family, will have to talk about his future. In the end your health should outweigh any other consideration.
3 Helenius wins. Wilder should immediately retire, even if it was a controversial decision. If you can't beat Helenius you won't get back into the mix at the top.

Agreed with Bread's top 3. AJ is better as to resumee, but he would loose badly with Fury and be retired by Wilder.

                  ...

The best 3 heavyweights are 1. Fury 2. Usyk. 3. Wilder.

At this current moment I would rate Joshua 4th but Joe Joyce may have an issue with that.

                  LMAO

I always said that AJ was the third best heavyweight

I ranked him third when he ducked Wilder the second time

impossible to rank AJ ahead of a guy he avoided, especially back when Wilder was undefeated and destroying everyone

but now..... Usyk has surpassed AJ as well LMAO

Sunny Edwards boxes circles around Bam - agree!

                    He makes Bam look ordinary!
