For what? What did he do? Killed his brother? ****d his mother? What did he do so severe that a father should disown his son? Didn't achieve the same level of success in the same profession? Oh, yeah, in 15th century they killed for that. I'm so tired of seeing the comments of "an average boxing fan" on this site showcasing their IQ equal to their age.Comment

Say what you like about CES but he has always tried to conduct himself with dignity. Calling out a guy in a lower division is never a good look, but begging, I mean begging like a whipped hound, for that fight is a much worse look. CES came from a really poor background but he always said money wasn't everything. His son has embarrassed him by acting like money IS everything. Alexjust-you're a jerk

I am a jerk because I questioned an obvious idiocy of suggesting that Eubank should disown his own son? Hm. Another IQ equal to age fan. There are many of you here. I guess boxing isn't chess and attracts different kind of fans, huh?

It’s ridiculous, I can’t think of anything more damaging for either man. This one is purely for money, an exhibition fight would be entertaining but this, nah. I’m with his dad on this one. Besides, a lot of fans were either not born or too young to remember 30 years ago.
bad move for both and let’s not even talk about the weight classes.Comment

TBH, I can't blame either guy. It's a chance for a huge payday and rematch etc that would easily set them both up financially for life. Given that neither are elite level and never will be. Easy to hate on stuff like this, I get it, but from a business perspective it was always going to happen. Especially as neither guy seems to want to fight a live dog in their respective weight class.Comment

You heard it, folks.“Because this fight did kind of come out of leftfield. I wouldn’t say it is a rush job or premature but it is a quick turnaround and his view was that we should wait and let it marinate."
Chris "Simply The Best" Eubank, who pushed hard to get a fight with Nigel Benn, who told Nigel in the SAME room that he was better than him, stronger than him and would outbox him, has told his son not to rush into a fight with career welterweight Conor Benn.
Here's why:
Senior doesn't believe in his son and he's worried.Last edited by Combat Talk Radio; 08-14-2022, 09:49 AM.Comment
