As always the WBC ratings are a joke.

    Middleweight

    1. Felix Trinidad (P.Rico)

    2. Ronald Wright (US)

    3. Jermain Taylor (US) AMERICA

    4. Felix Sturm (Germany)

    5. Kingsley Ikeke (Canada) NABF

    6. Howard Eastman (GB)

    7. Sam Soliman (Australia)

    8. Aaron Mitchell (US)

    9. Ike Quartey (Ghana)

    10. Arthur Abraham (Armenia)

    Quartey cracking the top 10?
    Winky above Taylor and Sturm?

    Light Heavyweight

    1. Paul Briggs (Australia)

    2. Thomas Ulrich (Germany) EBU

    3. Pietro Aurino (Italy) INTL

    4. Tomasz Adamek (Poland)

    5. Julio Gonzalez (Mexico)

    6. Roy Jones Jr. (US)

    7. Lou Del Valle (US)

    8. Stipe Drews (Croatia)

    9. Hugo Garay (Argentina)

    10. Silvio Branco (Italy)

Roy still cracking the top 10, despite 2 knockout losses???

    Super Welterweight

    1. Oscar De la Hoya (US)

    2. Ricardo Mayorga (Nicaragua)

    3. Michele Piccirillo (Italy)

    4. Sergei Dzindziruk (Ukraine) EBU

    5. Alex Bunema (Congo) AMERICA

    6. Sergio Martinez (Argentina) LATINO

    7. Rodney Jones (US) NABF

    8. Eric Mitchell (US)

    9. Marco Antonio Rubio (Mexico)

    10. Aslan Kodzoev (Russia)

    11. Bronco McKart (US)

    12. Joachim Alcine (Canada) INTL

    13. Verno Phillips (US)

    14. Kofi Jantuah (Ghana)

Rubio above Jantuah and Phillips, Bunema still in the top 5? De La Hoya Number 1???? WHAAAT!!!

    1. Floyd Mayweather (US)

    2. Gianluca Branco (Italy)

    3. Junior Witter (GB) COMM/EBU

    4. Jungbum Kim (Korea) OPBF

    5. Juan Urango (Colombia) LATINO

    6. Lovemore Ndou (South Africa)

    7. Steve Forbes (US)

    8. Paul Malignaggi (US) INTL

    9. DeMarcus Corley (US)

    10. Wilfredo Vilchez (Argentina)

Bronco above Corley/Malignaggi let alone being ranked 2 WTF?

These are just a few of the mishaps, I have found in their rankings. The Heavyweight rankings make me sick.

    1. James Toney (US)

    2. Hasim Rahman (US)

    3. Monte Barrett (US)

    4. Sinan Samil Sam (Turkey) INTL

    5. Oleg Maskaev (Uzbekistan)

    6. Samuel Peter (Nigeria) NABF

    7. Corrie Sanders (South Africa)

    8. Luan Krasniqi (Germany) EBU

    9. Jamel McCline (US)

    10. Owen Beck (Jamaica)

What a horrible list of heavyweights, How is Sanders above Mccline and how is Sanil Sam above Peter? My other complaint is how in the **** is Toney above Barrett??? Beck was a way tougher opponent then Rydell Booker. I also believe how corrupt those rankings are Larry Donald should have snapped the top 10 by beating Holyfield, I mean he is way over the hill and all but if a guy can be in the top 10 by losing then he should be in for winnning against Holy....The WBC needs to die.

Sanctioning bodies don't rank chapmions in their lists.

All ranking systems are garbage. They are all based around how much money they can get from either sanctioning the fights or from the promoters for putting them there. I can't wait for the commission to be enacted.

BTW, did you guys hear that McCain got it to pass the Commitee in the Senate? Now the whole Senate will vote on it and, if it passes, it goes to the House and then to the President. I hope it passes.

Why don't they rank the other champs in their rankings? Is it just because they don't want to show any respect to the other organization. Kind of a you don't really exist, my champion is the real champ. Or is it about something else?

I think it's kind of "you're already a champ so no need in ranking you and making you a mandatory for my organization since that would only lead to champions fighting each other and not giving a shot to anyone below them" type of deal. Think of it, if they ranked the champs then they would only fight themselves as mandatories. That's not good for boxing.

I laughed out loud when I saw the Lightheavy rankings...

and Gonzales' rank in comparison to those bums.....LMAO.

Nary and mention of Joppy....when he clowned Eastman's ass,

and should be in that top 5 middleweight grouping.
