Imagine the reponse Canelo would get if he was asking Bivol to drop a divison or two for a rematch.

Only thing is Bivol openly expressed that he would be willing to come down to 168 for rematch with canelo and challenge for his smw titles.. THATS how confident he is after comfortably beating canelo the 1st time. Unsurprisingly there was crickets heard from Canelos team regarding that statment.

Unrealistic that Katie will come down. Serrano went up weight and hurt her multiple times in the fight.

I watched the fight again and saw Serrano win. Katie had rounds that she clearly win after getting hurt that showed her heart and skills but got buckled in the last round again.

It was a close fight and not a robbery. Boxing is subjective so I can see why people have different scorings for this fight. Some people don't even score body blows.

Highly doubt Katie will come down and drain herself know what happened to her in the last fight.

All true, but I still think people would not be happy with Canelo if he was to pursue a rematch with that constraint attached... and it's an even worse look for Serrano. She chose to challenge Taylor at lightweight. She rocked her but couldn't get her out of there, allowing Taylor to come back and win the decision. Silly to now think Taylor should drop a division or two, as if Taylor was ever pursuing anything at featherweight.

Lol great, then she can do it again. If she can’t best Katie at 135 then just move on honestly. Trying to weight drain her is lame. Why would you even want to see it? Same fight but watered down by the competitors having to cut more weight.

Anyways Katie already has other offers coming her way so she really doesn’t need Amanda. It’ll be at 135 or else Taylor will just laugh and fight someone else.

Katie Taylor isn't going to give up her natural weight advantage in order to secure the rematch.
He should sit down with Taylor promotional team, and iron out the contract to secure the rematch ASAP!

She's 35 yrs old and has been a LW her entire career. It's simply not possible for KT to drop nine pounds at this stage of her career without ruining her stamina. You must understand this.

The same. Taylor won 6 rounds at least, arguably 7. Serrano had the best round of the fight, but that doesn't make her a winner, and some people trying to say she won R10 because she made KT's legs wobble a bit at the end is laughable, she got her ass kicked that round. Also, Taylor hurt Serrano multiple times in the middle rounds. That's why Serrano stopped firing back so much, she was scared at what was coming back from the Irish warrior. I actually prefer a tag-team match of Taylor and Hearn vs Serrano and Paul above the rematch. Nash out.
