A guy like Martin will get offers. Low KO ratio and a decent win will get him a top prospect. Trough-out the history of boxing these guys with a winning record like him get endless opportunities. (Matthew Hatton, Paulie, etc)

Well he beat Mikey Garcia so he probably feels he can get a better fight off the back of that alone and probably can if he waits it out.

Davies isn’t that good but he can crack. If Martin and his team are in talks about bigger fights then they probably just think it’s an unnecessary risk.
