Comments Thread For: Wilder-Helenius Likely On October 15 At Barclays Center, To Headline FOX Sports PPV

Deontay Wilder will return to the site of several of his most memorable knockouts to start his comeback. BoxingScene.com has learned Wilder is likely to box Robert Helenius on October 15 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn in what would be the former WBC heavyweight champion's first fight in more than a year. Wilder-Helenius is expected to headline a FOX Sports Pay-Per-View show 53 weeks after Wilder suffered an 11th-round knockout loss to Tyson Fury in the thrilling third fight of their trilogy.

PPV? Nah, another HW PPV from PBC with no belt on the line. Wilder can't carry a PPV on his own. A flop incoming.

Good opponent choice for Wilder. Helenius should be very hittable for Wilder. As long as he isnt completely shot and gun shy he takes out Helenius rather easy i think.

Decent return fight for Wilder but this should be a Fox TV card, not a PPV.

It doesn’t seem like good business sense to bring Wilder back on ppv after back to back losses.

Haymon is a clown. Co-main PPV at least with Wilder v Helenius and Ortiz v Ruiz. Michael Polite Coffie vs Curtis Harper (coming off a good win and pay the man this time) as an opening televised fight. All these PPVs vs packaging them into half-decent events.

Word Life! Perfect comeback opponent, but not PPV worthy! FOX is doing too much! SHO has been holding it down!

Ppv must have been the only way Fox would air this.

Would make more sense to have Ortiz v Ruiz and this on Fox TV, then the winners fight on PPV.

...should have been Big Baby Miller.

This presser will likely be dull and not thrilling.
