Another proof that Wahmen boxing is complete garbage

She competes with the likes of Hannah Rankin for **** sakes. On the grand scale of boxers, fighters, and warriors her and the women she boxes are ZERO’s…absolutely feather fisted, chicken **** losers that simply are not physically or psychologically developed for combat…they run, hold, pitty pat slap for their cute little 2 min rounds and have the audacity to refer to themselves as “fighters”?
Their are 150 pound, 15 year old, low level amateurs at my gym that would put Shields into dream land in under 60 seconds.
Again, women are not physically and psychologically developed for combat and it shows every time they “fight”.
and in the few cases they are, they're like milimeters away from being actual men *points at Amanda Nunes*

None of this matters if Marshall goes in there with her posing and not letting her hands go. All the woman power in the world but there are no signs that Shields will sit on the ropes and let Marshall go off on her. And for all the power talkers, Marshall is not the female version of Thomas Hearns is more accumulation like a younger GGG. Throw one punch ver 20secs and Shields will be up 7-0/6-1 rounds before anyone even notices.

Shields is entertaining as hell. I can’t believe that some people don’t take women's boxing seriously. Maybe it’s like when rap was first getting popular. Both are here to stay.

Problem with this statement is that the women in Ali's era were vastly superior to the current era. There weren't as many "housewife got called up" types, everyone actually fought worth a decent damn.

Plus Ali drew major money, way more than Shields could ever or would ever, because of her name but also because of the pointless fight with Frazier's daughter at a time when Ali/Frazier was still fresh in people's minds.

Which is a key motivator with Eubank Jr and Conor Benn.

What holds Shields back is that there's very few who have skill in the current era. Real skill, in her weight class. If she actually weighed like a woman instead of a man, she would have a lot more competition and compelling fights even if they ended up mismatches. I also think she'd have more power at a lower weight class but prefers to fight where it's easier for her to make weight - and she knows there's very little competition up there anyway.

Like I honestly would think that even now, at 40 years old, former two-time world champion Holly Holm would be a significant test for Claressa Shields were she not so much smaller.

Women's boxing isn't taken seriously because of HBO.

                Why?

HBO had never featured women on hardly anything until Claressa vs. Hermans. That was an underwhelming event to boot, and when you book underwhelming events, you're not going to get fans excited to see future of those events.

Claressa has never and will never deliver like Ann Wolfe or even Vonda Ward.

Back in those days, the women's fights were highlights. You had standout performances, often on par with the men. And the other networks were happy to feature them because they knew it would draw money.

Meh, I haven't seen much that indicates that. Belts are handed out like candy these days the talent level in womens boxing is kiddy pool shallow. Not at all impressed, her fights are terribly boring and general population don't know who she is.

I would love to hear your explanation for the use of thug in describing her, especially with her being a 2 time Olympic gold medalist, undisputed in 2 divisions, and never in trouble outside of the ring Seems like stereotyping or worse.
