Even though Rocha did not look spectacular in his last match up nowhere near the fight his opponent Veron tried to engage, besides defeating Blair Cobbs who just had beaten an over the hill Maurice Hooker he has faced Rashidi Ellis in a very competitive fight.

Tough one. I went with Avanesyan but I could see it going the other way. It's been a minute since I saw the Ellis fight but I thought he was outboxed (Ellis is pretty slick so not surprising). I don't see Avanesyan outslicking Lex like Ellis did.

Avanesyan was stopped by Mean Machine and he made a name for himself with those two stoppages of Kermin (who is very much euro-level) and Josh Kelly (who isn't as good as his initial hype).

Maybe I should have gone Rocha...I think I talked myself out of my own pick.
