He wants to fight everybody in his way leading up to the title except Boots Ennis

Vergil made weight, and went 9, so I think he can hang around 147 for a year! I wish the WBC would ORDER Thurman vs. Ortiz Jr.!!! If Keith don't want that work (Which i'm sure he doesn't) Then let's get the Avanesyan fight, or Ugas!

I expect Keith to fight DSG @ 154! Thurman wants no part of Ortiz, Benn, nor Boots! Boots vs. Stanionis will be a great fight!

Very good post. Ugas took a life and death beating from Spence. Ortiz is the #1 contender for Duckford and Spence belts. Should they not fight each other next then he Ortiz needs to fight anyone of them and Boots fight the other

Yeah definitely. That's undeniable. There's levels, and McKinson was not on Ortiz jrs level. But he didn't just go there for the cheque. He went to win and wasn't good enough. And he didn't quit either. His dad saw he was badly hurt, was limping, and done the right thing. Thank you for recognising that.

With no belts, why would either one be targeting the other especially Boots for Ortiz?? Literally no one outside this forum knows who Ennis is and currently brings nothing to the table. Ortiz is looking at bigger fish/prize in Spence or Crawford, not Ennis.

In a perfect world, the Plan B would be Spence vs. Boots, and Crawford vs. Ortiz Jr.! My fear is that if we don't get Spence vs. Crawford in 2022, Spence goes to 154, and Crawford does not join PBC, and we never see that fight!

Machine did hurt Ortiz iirc but referee said no knockdown? I will have to rewatch. My memory fails me. I just remember Ortiz getting hurt early and then coming back.

Yea Ortiz got rocked by a right uppercut from Kav but was nothing more than that. He slipped a few exchanges later from a wild missed hook. Crawford clearly got rocked but kept himself from going down and help up by his glove which should've been ruled a knockdown.

If boxing was run like an actual sport we would get Spence vs Crawford for the championship with ortiz vs ennis as the title eliminator for the winner.
