Credit to Blair he beat a former champion who probably outweighed him by 10+ lbs. Say what you want about the guy but for just losing by KO not too long that's an impressive victory especially after changing trainers. I don't think he'll be champion not with the current batch of fighters at least, but he sure has enough power to make for some fun fights.

Good to see Blair "The Flair" bounce back. Shows he took the loss as a learning experience. I think a disciplined flair beats Rocha easy in a rematch.

We said that same on the podcast immediately after the fight. New trainer, new focus, because he shouldn't have lost that fight. Taking nothing from Rocha.

I thought this was a good matchup for Cobbs. Hooker hasn't really done anything at welterweight and had been KO'd in 2 of his last 3. There's a reason why Hearn wanted Hooker for Benn.

Hooker looked out of physical shape and mentally checked out (probably due in some part to the loss of Stacy Snyder). Cobbs looked dialed in and showed some new wrinkles to his game.

Cobb's looked better. But Hooker was dreadful. He wasn't in shape. And perhaps even less in shape mentally. The Hooker that gave Ramirez and Ortiz jr problems imo would beat Cobb's. But unfortunately that Hooker didn't show.

I hope Michael McKinson gets offered a Cobbs fight. He gave a good account of himself against Ortiz jr, and DLH could do worse than asking him back for a Cobbs fight.
