I don't really hate Oscar as a person, though there are sides of his character that I indeed dislike. Mostly, I could not stand his "establishment icon" role in his glory days.

However, I've mellowed my position on him a tiny bit with the passage of time... After watching him beaten to a pulp by Pacquiao, I almost felt sorry for him.

The fact that a "Focused Adrien Broner™" is even a thing tells me he probably doesn't have what it takes to make a 2nd push. He's accomplished more than most guys in the sport though, so he can ride off in the sunset or sell his name for a few more big paydays.
