Dan Rafael said he still expects the fight this year. He’s pretty connected so I don’t think he would just say that without hearing something.

Even still, time is running out to lock in a date for this year. Other fights and UFC are filling up the calendar quickly.

I would say right now I’ll be pleasantly surprised if it happens in 2022 but not counting on it.
