Joshua has to use some PEDS for stamina. Then, easy KO on midget.

yep - oddly given their relative weights now, Beterbiev hurt him in the amateurs too didn’t he. I think as you’ve mentioned (and someone else has pointed out), AJ’s best bet is a patient strategy hitting the body. He’ll have to make it a bit of a boring fight to win it I think, hit the body, jab and grab, and hope to land something big at mid-range.

Problem being that I think Usyk has that ability that separates the elite boxers from the very good, to adjust his strategy in the ring. So almost no matter what AJ does, I think Usyk will work it out after 4 or so rounds and run away with the fight from there.

I hear/read a lot of comments here: Joshua has/needs to do this/that, go for the body, be physical, be whatever blabla! Come to senses, ladies! Some people are talking as if Usyk is a sitting duck and Joshua the high flyer! Ffs, remember that Joshua didn't know what to do when Usyk planted his right knee inside of Joshua's left! A lot of armchair experts here don't know shyte about that and yet they're talking! Joshua's flatfooted for a starter! How is he going to move sideways in a dog fight with a southpaw? What are we talking about, ladies??

Joshua needs to mixed the pace and range up. And alternate between violent attacks, and boxing from long range.

A good example of this would be, Lennox Lewis vs Mike Tyson.

Yes Mike Tyson was not in the best of condition. But Lewis switched between the styles.

He put it on Mike Tyson in the first round, he was a mess and he did not win that round but? He inflicted some damage.

And then for the remainder of the fight, he switched up the intensities and violence.

This is what Joshua has to do, and I think he can do it.

I don't think Joshua has the style of attitude to go all out like Arturo Gatti vs Micky Ward, not many fighters do.

This fight is about Joshua being more aggressive, but he also has to be calculated and measured.

Usyk himself, I have never seen him go all out in a fight. He is always a measured fighter, plus? His inside game is overrated.

Joshua has been inside the ring with fighters who have bigger punching power, and more lethal offenses than Usyk.

Right now as we speak? I think the training is pretty much completed. I am intrigued to see the condition of both fighters, and their attitudes.

I don't want to see Joshua being all matey matey, this is not the time or fight for any of that.

It's so abundantly obvious now that Usyk will be sparring for and expecting these tactics.

Joshua has paid the price for his loyalty to Rob McCracken already sadly.

Gotta respect that loyalty and it was working or doing enough for years.

Hoping it's not too late to turn the corner, but he certainly can't have any more L's now.

It looked like AJ fought the first fight to intentionally lose to set up this big money rematch, similar to what the Ruiz first fight looked like. Is AJ the betting underdog this time?

I think AJ pulls this out. Usyk will have to box masterfully for 12 rounds to get this victory. Keep AJ off balance, frustrate him by making him miss. I think Usyk slips up in the first half of the fight, and AJ hurts him. That will slow Usyk enough for AJ to connect more and more. AJ KOs Usyk rounds 10 or 11. If the fight goes the distance I've got Usyk winning the decision.

I feel like the boxing community collectively sighs these days any time David Haye gives his opinion on anything

"Everybody has a plan until they get hit." This is especially true with Joshua. He literally freezes up. He's loses a dogfight. He should fight tall and keep Usyk at the end of his jab. Too bad Emanuel Steward isn't around to rehabilitate him.

Usyk fights center line, right in your face, just like Lomachenko, and like Loma he uses his legs to produce the angles. You have to invest the 1st half of the fight to take away his legs. Teo had Loma running for the 1st half of the fight but he was headhunting. 2nd half of the fight Loma still had his legs and darn near turned it into a draw. Legs!

I've never seen this from Garcia's camp, never! Really hate AJ picked him. If AJ does it, it's going to be on his own.
