He has a body type that doesn't allow him to put any significant mass on his legs

    He's not ignoring his legs

He turns 37 in 2 months

I don't see a significant second act in his career coming now tbh

Nor do I. In my opinion, I think he would have already been back if he was coming at all. I'd be surprised if he ever does fight professionally again and I can't imagine it would be anything more than a few more times.

I imagine he's financially set and he can take care of his daughter's needs as well as the rest of his family.

So many solid black guys can’t party and stop..

Free base-ing isn’t a good look for anyone!

Wilder has a decent enough base to work from. He is only going to ether get bigger or more refined.

But I will say this? Apart from Wilder's power. When it comes to physical strength, and even core strength.

I really do think Wilder has always suffered in these departments. His lack of strength made Fury I & II look more dramatic.

If Wilder had the real brute strength of a Heavyweight, he would of beaten Tyson Fury.

Wilder nearly got it right in the third fight, he was just not as functional at the higher weight 'He seemed to struggle to carry the weight'.

Note: I have no idea what to expect, once Wilder returned to the ring.

Geez, he looks like a long distance runner.... minus those chicken legs. Can't believe Michael Hunter looks bigger than Wilder. lol. I think Wilder may be going to Bridgerweight... OR maybe even slim enough in his shape to go down to Cruiser?

Because of those chicken legs homeboy. He can(did)bulk up all he wants, those legs will always be the first to go. Fury and his camp knew this that's why Fury got inside and bodied Wilder every chance he got. No coincidence Wilder was gassed within 4rds. Like another poster mentioned,he just doesn't have the body type to put on mass down there so lose the weight up top and fight to your strength which is lean, quick and explosive.

I honestly feel he retires though. He made out like bandit with the Trilogy but also took 2 brutal beatdowns I don't think he can recover from. I still wouldn't mind a Wilder vs Ruiz showdown but I can honestly see that ending badly for Wilder as well.
