It's not like any of Don King's past misdeeds are under lock and key. If you were a young fighter and asked Mike Tyson if you should sign with Don King I'm sure he'd both beg and intimidate you into not signing with King. Even a surface level google search about Don King will tell you why he's bad news. I don't get it, even if Don King waves 50 grand under your nose that 50 grand means nothing if you can't get fights and he blocks you from fighting.

No idea why sanctioning bodies still let don king do purse bids without him putting entire winning bid in escrow account so fighters can be paid

The bigger question is why haven't revoked his license to promote, arrested, charged, indicted, sentenced, and imprisoned this career criminal already?
The boxing commission's, and the Department of justice, are just as corrupt and criminal as the promoter's, and the boxing organization's that run the sport.
Why can't they do their jobs, and protect all of the boxer's who put their lives on the line every time that they step into the ring, it's simply criminal how they treat these fighters in the sport of boxing.
