Thurman won't take that fight. He'll only fight for a title or a right to fight for a title (and he just fought for that right). He doesn't fight for the love of the sport. He fights for the glory, fame, and riches that comes along with Boxing.

WBC moved thurman to #1 in their rankings, he’s being positioned as the contingency should spence vs crawford fail to be made.

Can't these guys, Ennis and Benn, just stop mentioning Thurman's name? Just go ahead, fight a nobody, then come back for another paycheck.

That Canadian that beat Josesito would be good for Ennis.

I'd love to see either fight but I believe Boots wins both of em. Stanionis gets hit too much but is game enough to make it interesting. Thurman is past his due date whether he admits it or not.

And since Boots is not signed to Haymon, Thurman won't get retirement money to fight Boots. Lara vs Thurman or Danny next at 155lbs. Lara, unfortunately, does not have enough pull to move the catchweight further up. 157lbs maybe.

I for one would enjoy that
