It was a little too quick for me too, but I was also seeing what's to come.

Antuanne had prepared for a featherfisted moving target, instead Rances was flatfooted, strong, and unorthodox. It threw their whole plan out of the window. Adjustments took a while to come. I can honestly say this is the first Rances fight I've ever liked. At least, I didn't fall asleep before the main event, or quit watching. So, kudos.

Let's see a rematch?

It was a good, competitive fight. I don't mind an immediate rematch on the Davis undercard in October or November. More people need to see it. I had Russell winning up to the stopping point but the early stoppage needs to be rectified. Cong**** to both.

Saw the punch, not the fight.
It was a smooth shot that clearly hurt him.
He wasn't 100 % and the ref looked deep into his eyes.
Obviously his corner is going to boo-hiss as are his fans.
I don't think Bart is on GAR's level.

It was , it was until the bs stoppage which imo was not warranted
Yes I believe the shot caught him and hurt him but he seemed to be A ok
Ref could’ve let it continue whether it’s incompetence or fixing ( to plain obvious especially since his last fight had a similar output )
I also thought that Russell was stealing rounds cause Barthélémy was connecting
Not to say Rances would’ve won the fight but at least we knew he came to compete
So , rematch it is , I’d like for them to run through it again

Mula, I gotta agree with ya. They most definitely need to run it back. I was scoring the fight and had them even due to a 10-10 round. Rances looked better than I’ve seen him look tonight. Too effing bad the ref robbed us fans of a potential foty candidate. Who knows what would’ve happened if it were allowed to continue.

Seeing some interesting comments here. First of all, I'll say, I haven't saw this fight yet. But I'm seeing 2 types of opinions here. Corruption seems a popular choice. Then in response to that, not corruption but rather, incompetence. One things for sure though. It's not the fault of the fighter. If there's corruption, he won't know anything about that. If it's incompetence, then that's nothing to do with Antuanne. It reminds me a bit of another little fight this year, where an unfavorable outcome had people in a frenzy. That fight was Taylor Vs Catterall. Regardless of people's opinions on the outcome of that fight, it was not Taylors doing. Corruption? If it was Taylor knew nothing of it. Incompetence? If so, again, Taylor can't be blamed. Yet he has received dreadful criticism for a situation, not his fault, and for merely being entitled to his own opinion. Antuanne, is gonna be entitled to his opinion also. I've seen people in here that slated Taylor, but are backing Antuanne. I've backed Taylor, but will also back Antuanne. And I'm not a fan of his. I refuse to show an inconsistent fickle nature, that see's things, alright, only when it suits me. Corruption? Incompetence? I'm sure boxing sees a little of both. But know this. It's not the fault of the fighter, so don't slaughter a guy who doesn't deserve it.
