Benitez was legit threat with his slick defense and counterpunching. He was like more defensive version of Canelo. He also outboxed Duran.

Ok, I respect your opinion but styles makes fights. Lara was hell of a rangy with 192 cm reach, Hearns had 198 CM reach. Hearns also much bigger puncher than Lara. Canelo eats Leonard and Hearns at 160 but 154 is different story.

Canelo doesn't do **** to Hearns at 154 or 160.

Extra weight won't help Canelo. His feet are slow are 154, extra weight isn't helping that. He would get lit up on the outside by Hearns. Barkley used size/physicality to beat Hearns but he a bigger man than Canelo, and he was willing to walk through fire and take risks. Canelo wouldn't take risks when getting schooled by Floyd, jabbed all night by GGG in the first fight, or when getting outboxed by Bivol. If he couldn't use his size against Floyd, he's not going to be able to do it against Hearns who was so much bigger, stronger, better jab, one punch power if you make a mistake.

Hearns knocked people out at cruiserweight, he beat Virgil Hill at 175. But Canelo at 160 is too big for him even though Canelo fans claim that he only lost to Bivol because he's too small for 175?
