Why don't they just forget about guarantees and split the revenue fairly? That way there's no big financial risk for whoever would be on the hook to subsidize the fight and the fighters get paid from what they actually draw, not whatever numbers are pulled out of their asses that they think they deserve.

Just get the friggin fight made. Stop pissing about with all this political/revenue related bull**** and give the fans what they want.

We as fans really should not give a toss who earns what. This is the biggest fight in the sport where, in my humble opinion, the winner is the undisputed p4p no.1. Any later then their next fights then the stakes lower and this fight loses its allure, in exactly the same way May/Pac did.

The fight can be made, if Spence and Crawford aren't too greedy and overestimate their PPV value.

As excellent or great as they may be in the ring, they just aren't that hugely popular to get massive numbers they might be thinking of.

Compromise, take a few million less, and do it for the fans and boxing.

the issue is the fans and I warned fans months ago especially Spence and Bud fans who only wanted to support 1 and not the other in fact some Idiots went as far as wanting to Boycott one while only supporting the others and now it is likely a struggle to get people to sponsor it because fans instead of supporting Bud too, they was happy that his PPV's did not do well

so yeah THE FANS F^cked that up on top of both fighters not having personalities to appeal to Mainstream

I have yet to have a casual Co-Worker or Family member ask me about this fight, I get more Text and questions asking me if "Rahman Son Any Good? Will he beat Jake Paul?"

I’ll take off my coat but I’m not going to give it to you. So, I think it could happen and I’m looking forward to that fight. I think it’s a legacy fight for him and myself.”

So...who sounds more genuine like they want the fight?

If haymon is smart then he'd get Mayweather to promote this fight. Crawford and Spencer are really good fighters but those dudes personalities are bland af.

If it was a guarantee to do a big PPV number it would have been signed by now. A lot of Saturdays in the fall and winter are being taken by other fights and UFC so the window is closing for 2022.

I think the reason Thurman was elevated to top contender by the WBC this week was to put pressure on Crawford to sign. Basically saying take the deal or they will move on to Thurman and Spence May move up to 154 after that.

These guys aren’t household names. In the past few weeks I’ve seen both Crawford and Spence trending worldwide on Twitter so I thought maybe a deal is done. Both times it was two soccer players that were in the news.
What are you talking about? Crawford is known in Omaha and Spence is well known I'm Dallas( an international city).

Those rich cunning old farts Arum and Hayman are full of BS excuses it's about them not the fighters or fans, they don't care about anything but themselves in getting richer so when they die the Sancho and free loaders around them will keep and enjoy everything while they rot in their grave. Spence will definitely break Crawford down with his careful hard combinations accurately and at the right time. Easy win for my homeboy representing Texas all Latinos in the RGV are with Spence .

                    Who’s greedier?

The guys getting punched in the head, risking death, for a living?

Or the guys sitting down wearing shirts and ties but making even more cash than the above without physical risk?

but in essence, this is not a massive money fight (Hearn and Arum are in agreement here) , it's a fans fight. The problem is that boxer's at the top are paid too much - there! I said it!
Well maybe the profit merchants, the ones who aren’t getting beat in the head, should take less cash then
