Would have saved himself from that beating and humiliation if his father throwed in the towel early to fight another day.

Flores put up a valiant effort. He showed a lot of heart. The man definitely showed everyone and himself what he's made of. Unfortunately, this is where the corner comes into play. How much punishment do they let their fight take?

He's done. They let him take way too much sustained damage. This is where I don't like the father/son combo. Same as Lopez, these guys are scared of not only being fired but also losing a close relationship when they act as a real trainer would.

Flores looked small and very soft at lightweight - he clearly doesn't have to power to hang in this division.

He could be a solid gatekeeper at super feather. If he can't make that weight, he should consider making a change. He's very young and could still go back to school.

Senior calls his son "bro". I think senior's priorities are not his son's health

yeah not only is it BULLSH^T to allow Gabe to take that amount of punishment once again but at only 22 I don't even know if this kid will ever recover and live up to his potential

2 Loses now, not sure where he goes from here but I'm still rooting for him. Sr need to step back, bring in another trainer for his son to work on Fundamentals especially Defensively and good consistent Jab can also be used as Defense to keep your Opponent off of you. Don't be too proud to CLINCH either especially when in Danger instead of just accepting a Knockdown

Seems like his dad pimps him out to make money of his son who calls him a Bro. I know when they made this fight he would get beaten. Giovanni is the guy who beat Rene Tellez Giron who knocked out Balderas so it was apparent to me Giovanni was winning this fight. And with little punching power a fighter should never go up in weight. Flores has the heart of a lion but maybe he should take a couple years off to see if he can gain some man strength when he is 24 or 25.

Sad to see but the writing is on the wall. It’s like they REFUSE to make changes in the corner, his physique, and his fight game as a whole. This kid is losing years off of his life….screw his career! A shame, to say the least.

                      What is it gonna take?
