Everyone knew he was gonnna beat Marquez. Marquez jumped up 2 weight divisions for christ sake! If i was shane and i was champ and had this lil guy running his mouth all over about how great he is in the same division, i would call his punk ass out too! And he didnt wait to talk **** in an interview, he did it face to face! Man floyd really looks dumb now saying he never turned down any fights? Please. Does p williams and miguel cotto ring a bell?

Any fighter that Mayweather fights has some sort of built in excuse. Too old, too small, past prime.....
P will is a threat with no Money sense brah.Who wants to brawl a high risk fighter with no cash reward??? Lets get that clear and out the way.Thank you.
Next, last time i checked pac WAS the one who called cotto to fight. In the mist of the middle of the clottey fight pac was wispering to bob for the green light.eh? And mayweather CHOSE a smaller fighter,+2 over the limit,DID NOT SHOW HBO WHAT HE REALLY WEIGHED FIGHT NIGHT,who did pac chose??? A BIG WELTERWEIGHT.So the criticism flip? ok then, hope you understand.

Floyd won't ever fight Mosley, he looked scared when Mosley was next to him. I'd love to see the fight though but now I see why Floyd does not want it, Mosley looked like he had more of a size advantage over Floyd than Floyd did over JMM.

minds made up.
there is no sense arguing with people whose mind is already made up... if you were against Floyd, then you got all the "evidence" you needed to see why he is overrated, or this, or that. If you love Floyd, then everything great about him was once again validated. One could make the argument that never has any fighter so hated prompted so many haters to go out of their way to buy his $50.00 fights and then take the initiative to go complain about them.

The most offensive thing, for me, was failed white rapper Max Kellerman.. I'm surprised more people didn't complain about that. For one thing, he tries to instigate... you know, the name on the tickets, and on the marquee, was "Mayweather", not "Max Kellerman"- I paid $50 to see that fight, maybe we wanted to see what the victor had to say??
Even then, Floyd displayed a new side to his persona- "I could be better"- and this newfound humility is cut off by the eager, bug-eyed Kellerman. The worst thing is, he cuts Floyd off, like a bitter little kid, just because Floyd decided he had something to say.. as if hes going to get the last word, or NOT let Floyd get it! ("Jim..? JIM..??!")
What borders on offensive is Kellerman's comments after that. He suggests that Floyd hasn't "done himself any favors" by acting like that, after putting across the argument that he owes Kellerman because Kellerman has 'always been nicer to him'. Whether he has or not, he is SUPPOSED to be unbiased and fair. To think that an annoying commentator (that many don't even like replacing Merchant (!!) of all people) feels a sense of entitlement from the P4P champ (!) is utterly ridiculous. People paid to see Mayweather Vs. Marquez, not the commentary of Kellerman.

hahaha...i missed that... i missed that classic "FLOYD JR. STUTTER".
I saw it first when Margarito confronted Floyd Jr.
FMJ got mad skills, a natural ability to fight, it's almost an instinct like breathing.
but what good is all that without the "Heart" to really be the best in this sport by fighting the best? The "Honor" pick on someone his own size? The "Courage" to accept the challenge right in front of him in the name of Sugar Shane Mosley.
Floyd Mayweather Jr.= a great boxer...a great "cowardly" boxer.

I would not be surprised if Mayweather-Mosley is made. Mayweather's last 3 fights were all against Golden Boy fighters. He prefers to do business with them instead of Arum. He will probably offer Mosley a much smaller percentage and because Mosley needs the payday and knows that a victory over Mayweather would net him MUCH more money in a rematch or other fights, he will accept the offer. He may not even wait for the Cotto-Pacquiao fight to start negotiations for a January fight with Mosley.

Floyd has crazy skills and people just want him to push himself by fighting the top guys in his division. No problem with a tune-up fight (if that is what you want to call this fight) but now people know that the "top" welter is calling him out. If this does not happen, something is wrong

It is possible definately.I would usually say floyds skills would determine the outcome, but the thing about Mosley is that when everyone thought he was done after cotto, he came back with i think one of hist best victories over the supposedly unstoppable at the time Margarito. All that being said, i hope to see that fight next. I Pick Mosley to knock out floyd by round 10. Floyd does have a way of picking opponents he knows he can beat all the time. He didnt want to fight Marg or p williams when they called him out. De la hoya did the same towards the end of his career, BUT de la hoya also fought whitaker, tito, quartey, hopkins, mosley, vargas, Who were all in his weight class or higher . Floyds record compared to some other greats just falls short in competition. If de la hoya, mosley, hopkins, cotto used floyd's method of picking opponents, they would all be undefeated as well i'm sure of it. So basically floyd is a great fighter no doubt about that. But he's not as good as him or his fans would like to think he is. Not until he starts taking dangerous fights. Mosley the most dangerous opponent he will face in a since castillo. But lets not forget Shanes gonna be 37 or 38 if they fight. Floyd knows this too. Thats why floyd all of a sudden isn't scared of mosley. Age against him, I still pick Mosley to win by KO. If his age hasnt caught up to him yet.
