So Mosely publicly called out Floyd. It was an astute move. Maybe Floyd will fight somebody who has a chance to actually win. After the Castillo scare, Floyd has cherry picked opponents. He completely avoided Kostya Tszyu at 140 which was a smart move for Floyd because he probably would have been knocked out. But, after having gotten away with that with hardly any notice, the cherry picking really picked up steam. The only intriguing fights Floyd has had since moving up from 135 is with Zab Judah and Oscar DeLaHoya. Everything else has been easy cruising for big money.Originally posted by Iceta View Post

I personally lost some respect for Hopkins and Mosley, hell and Kellerman. That wasn't even Mosley's style. Whether you like or dislike a fighter, don't jump in the ring and try to take his glory away after a fight. When Mayweather was chasing Mosley he never jumped in the ring and took his glory away after a win. And Mosley was running from Mayweather then. Now that Mosley (or rather DLH/GBP) wants a payday Mosley is chasing Mayweather, and attempting these childish tactics.Comment

Everybody knew that fighting a small, slower and older guy like Marquez will be very easy for a return in the ring, anyway Marquez did not do anything to win that fight, he fought the whole 12 rounds from outside, instead of cutting the ring and put pressure. So Max kellerman takes a break from comparing mike katidis to Jesus with gloves, to go down to the ring and pick a fight for shane mosley. Shane then comes down and does his kanye west inpersination only to get little Floyd so mad all he can do is studder but what he should have told shane was the truth. Shane there is no money in fighting you and Floyd money dont fight for the kinda money you do. And Shane can only blame him self for lossing so many times and not building a fan base. I love shane as a fighter but come on you aint gonna get floyd and if you do you lose another decison and end up on the b side of things with no more chance at ppv money. So shane stop chassing floyed, Max get of the mikes no boxing nuts, Bhop stop getting into stuff ( your to old for that and crazy Roger might hit you with a brick) And last but not least thank you floyd for returning , that was the best skill in the ring I have ever seen and all the myweather haters can say what they want but the boy's got skill.Comment

I'm not a floyd fan, never have been. But i'm not naive to say that Shane will whoop floyd. It is possible definately.I would usually say floyds skills would determine the outcome, but the thing about Mosley is that when everyone thought he was done after cotto, he came back with i think one of hist best victories over the supposedly unstoppable at the time Margarito. All that being said, i hope to see that fight next. I Pick Mosley to knock out floyd by round 10. Floyd does have a way of picking opponents he knows he can beat all the time. He didnt want to fight Marg or p williams when they called him out. De la hoya did the same towards the end of his career, BUT de la hoya also fought whitaker, tito, quartey, hopkins, mosley, vargas, Who were all in his weight class or higher . Floyds record compared to some other greats just falls short in competition. If de la hoya, mosley, hopkins,cotto used floyd's method of picking opponents, they would all be undefeated as well i'm sure of it. So basically floyd is a great fighter no doubt about that. But he's not as good as him or his fans would like to think he is. Not until he starts taking dangerous fights. Mosley the most dangerous opponent he will face in a since castillo. But lets not forget Shanes gonna be 37 or 38 if they fight. Floyd knows this too. Thats why floyd all of a sudden isn't scared of mosley. Age against him, I still pick Mosley to win by KO. If his age hasnt caught up to him yet.Comment
