He may not go in there wanting to hurt the YouTuber but he's training hard.
Instead of doing this, why not just donate money to those causes ?
Yeah he's always training hard in everything he does, even in his personal day to day exercises, he has that supreme work ethic. It's a habit thing. Winners in life have this attitude.

      I still don't see why he's doing this ?
Why not just send the specific charities checks ?

It's for charity. He can gather even more money this way far far more than his own money. Most of his money is going to charity anyway. He also has charity in countries like Africa with the Pygmies where he's teaming up with UFC star Dustin Poirier, these things we don't hear or know about but just happen to hear it from Dustin Poirier interview. When all is said and done, Pacquiao will probably be poor again in the future because all his money will be on those charities.

          Sigh..............
You don't need an event to give to charities.

Ukraine has millions of people in need of help right now. An event gives even more money than his own--simply the more money he can gather the better he can help them. Even billions is not enough right now to help those millions of Ukrainian people that are homeless, dying and in need of urgent medical assistance. He simply wanted to give more than what he have right now.

What gets people going is a mystery. To me it's mountain climbing, I feel this pure joy and excitement during planning stage, exhilaration during ascent and I love the smell of nature. My grandmother had the same mentality with Manny, she never misses to give something to charity. When I was a kid I once asked her about it due to curiosity. She simply said she feels happy. I realized it's probably the same feeling I get from climbing mountains. In science they call it the activation of the neurotransmitter dopamine where you feel happy and rewarded doing it.

                Pac -
''How much did the last exhibition event make...I will match it. No need for me to arrange an event.''

Events have overhead and MAYBE 60% goes to the charity(ies).

Checks made out to specific charities is the way to go. Pac is setting something up.

                Easy

Yup I've heard about this too during the Mcgregor vs Poirier build up where they interviewed Dustin Poirier about building homes, water system, and improving the overall living conditions of Pygmies in Africa and he mentioned that him and Manny Pacquiao are on it. At first I thought they were gonna fight in the future, but it turns out they just in there for charity, that was like what 2-3 years ago? .. I bet if Poirier tells Pacquiao to have a charity event fight, he too can get it. It's just difficult for any professional fighters to give up money coz they are after all prize fighters.
