I'm not disagreeing with what he's saying. It's just that interview after interview, talking about Davis, or any of his fights, or potential fights, he consistently manages to reference his own career, like he's paranoid people are gonna forget him lol. It's gets a bit tiring. It's Davis, time. He should use every second to promote that.

Truth and agreed. He seems to be starting that. I rather see him promoting more than Ellerbe.

Ryan is done at any weight if he takes this fight.
Lol you ever see a normal and healthy 5’10” 135 person in your life? Gimme a break. I don’t care who you are that is not a healthy and natural weight at that height. If it were a chick we’d call her bulimic

Sorry, but he won’t make half that. The days of 100 million for a single fight are over. Even the biggest star in boxing isn’t making 100 mil.

Yeah, well Mayweather has lived the life and knows what a fighter has to go through. I don't doubt Ellerbe knows business, but he's hard to listen to. Mayweather should always be focusing on talking about Gervonta. Ellerbe always does, but I get annoyed with him when he dismisses potential big fights, because he says they don't bring anything to the table. There'll never be a better time to make this Garcia fight, so I hope all parties can put their differences aside and get it done. And I agree with Floyd, that it'll be at 135. Garcia is the one leaving 135, not Gervonta. The onus is on Ryan to make 135 if he really wants it.

Anybody who claims Davis is ducking Garcia, if he doesn't go up to 140 is talking nonsense. Their both 135lbrs and Garcia is moving up to 140. That's fine, but you can't expect to drag someone up in weight to suit you. If he wants the fight badly enough he'll still make 135. I'm a Josh Taylor fan but I disagreed with his initial comments on rematching Catterall at 147. If he wants a rematch it should be at 140. So it's time for Garcia to show how much he wants it and get the sweat suit on. Davis has had some unprofessional tendancies in the past, but he showed it can be done when he fought LSC. Now it's Ryan's turn, so he better not make it an issue.

This fight won’t happen for years..

OH WELL!! Ryan will just mature more and become the biggest star in the sport.

So now we know, the fight isn't happening. Rayn isn't squeezing back down to 135 lbs, unlikely.
