I suspect he won’t take that fight. The fight with Canelo will be more grueling than the first two. I don’t think he fully recovers within 2 months to start another 8 week training campto fight Lara, especially not at 40, years old. This trilogy match may just be his last, win, lose or draw.

I think you're right.... Golovkin is not gonna start taking those kind of risks at this point

GGG has the advantage now, which is why he'll likely take the fight whereas he refused to entertain it when they were both in their primes.

It's actually the opposite. GGG loves it for you to give him space and fight on the outside this way he can cut the ring and extend on his shots. The way to give him issues is to go to the body and on the inside like canelo did in the 2nd fight and what sergey did. Ouma was losing almost every rd and got stopped. Ouma fights nothing like lara and was pressing ggg on the inside. Lara fights like neither and can't fight on the inside.

that is a distinct possibility.... Lara will be a lot more " available " now, than he was 6-7 years ago

then again ggg passed up a lot of fights that were winnable, preferring to select lower level opponents because they were safer
