Yea she is, unfortunately for her. Jr might want to rethink that when it’s up. His career will be severely limited unless he owns up to reality. Light middleweight will be the same. He’s going to have to come off that safety net of matchroom fights in the U.K.

Possibly. But the contract has to run out first.

OR his promoter could simply give his blessing and let the kid fight on pbc for a bit, if he succeeds his name grows, he can go back to matchroom with titles and acclaim. Wouldn’t cost young Edward a dime but would pay dividends for junior’s career if he wants the risk of fighting the best

I don't want him to step up to LMW or MW and I don't want him to waste any more guys who were at their peak 10 years ago. What I want, & I don't think this is unreasonable, is that he fights Ekow Essumann for the British title or Avaneseyan for the European title. I want to make this abundantly clear, I don't hate Conor, I have no views, but I hate the vile bilge spewing out of Eddie Hearn's mouth. Conor can't fight for domestic titles, he is too charismatic, too exciting, too 'big'. What? He is more charismatic & exciting than Lloyd Honeyghan, Colin Jones or Kirkland Laing? I don't f+++++ think so & they all fought for domestic honours.

As for CEJ, he isn't getting better & he isn't getting younger. If he is ever to hold a version of a world title he needs to become mandatory challenger for a belt at 160 rather than boggering about looking to fight Kell Brook or Conor Benn.

Nobody hating. His daddy is the one trying to get him knocked off.

And TBBH, having seen Conor Benn, every one of Lloyd Honeyghan, Colin Jones & Kirkland Laing would've beaten him by a stoppage & in the case of a peak Lloyd, probably a first round stoppage. There are levels.

Benn sells more in the UK. Nobody in the US will give a damn about him, as where in the UK he's the next big thing, as long as he keeps winning, for general sports fans at least anyway.

Benn has his game, but I think he's untested. He is still passing multiple choice, no hard questions. Chris is a tough nut for Benn, considering the quality of Benns victims.
