Mayer has really started to say some things that come off poorly...she seems to believe all the hype that ESPN puts has heaped on her.

I haven't heard Baumgardner say anything disrespectful or arrogant. I'd also remind Mayer that one of the reasons why this fight is getting attention is the sensational highlight reel KO that Alycia produced against Teri Harper.

As good as an opponent Hamadouche was, that buildup didn't have anywhere near the buzz that this fight has...

When my brother PBR Streetgang, speaks you have to listen, he always has something intelligent to say about boxing!
Baumgardner might be getting the biggest payday of her life, just like your probably getting the biggest payday of your life.
So don't make it sound like your the one paying her the biggest pay day of her life, you're just a part of the equation making it possible.
That's only happening because you are fighting each other, so what are you talking about when you say that she done nothing?
What have you done in or for the sport of boxing, you've won a vacant title, and defended it three times, what's your worth?
I'm hoping that Baumgardner knocks you back down to reality, because your ego has obviously gotten out of control.

Baumgardner is a boxer, her job is to get in the ring and fight and win - which she has done. I'm not sure what Mayer expects Baumgardner to have done to 'justify' her being in this fight. Mayer comes across as having a chip on her shoulder about it all to me.

Mayer is just pissed off because Baumgardner is not only a more exciting fighter but more attractive than her and getting all the shine.

I feel like being the only known female on with her promotional outfit has her thinking she's a bigger attraction than she actually is... I see them of similar stature and It's the biggest fight available for each of them by a mile and one biggest that can be made in women's boxing and that's on the strength of what they've both done in the ring, I like them talking and selling the fight, but these comments come off as a little deluded.
