Fury’s the sole reason really why veteran boxing fans think the sport is on the decline just with his body type . He’s actually detracting from boxing with crazy opinions the heavyweights are overweight . Honestly it’s not a good look for him tbh though we know he’s in shape the casual fans use it against the sport .

I love it. I think he looks great when he wants to dress up. If he doesn’t want to then he doesn’t bother or care. It shows he’s comfortable either way. So many celebs wouldn’t have the nerve. He’s the HW champ of the world. Looks great in the ring. Brings it.
He’s not some fighter that gets a new tattoo psyching himself up between fights.
Most fighters steal style or emulate. A lot market themselves with tats and nicknames. Fury is a level

He's only able to do that because nobody knows who he is. In boxing circles sure...but in day to day life...not so much. It shows his level of star power/ celebrity. If that was Harry Styles or Justin Beiber they would be swamped....with paparazzi everywhere.

Cannot get away with in world class boxing anywhere but HW, try it as a LW to MW and you will get run over sooner or later, the HWs are a totally different entity where size muscle fat doesn't have the consequences of the lighter weights, 2lb can get you killed at WW but 50lbs doesn't matter at HW, Id say its because of speed and power to weight ratio packed into the smaller fighter.

the heavyweight division is reality. it's the open class of the sport, anyone can get some. no BS catchweights, rehydration clauses or fighters rehydrating 20+ pounds after the official weigh in. The HW division is the truth.
