If Tank turns down a good offer then he better be fighting someone as good or better than Ryan instead. The fans are getting sick of his cherrypicking.

I don't see why he would,

He's already tried to make the fight happen before when Garcia was calling him out before he took a hiatus because he was having panic attacks at the thought of fighting for the big titles

Why at 140 though? They're both at 135, just have it there.

If he wants to fight Teofimo at 140, cool, go ahead, that's where Teo is now.

Ryan stated he's done at 135 which we all new was coming as him and Haney are big ass kids for the division.Tank has fought at 140lb before and more than a few of his fans here stated he would give Taylor and Prograis a run for thier money.....now all of sudden he's too small for 140lb? He holds no meaningful belts at 135,doesn't plan on having any meaningful fights at 135,has fought at 140 before so why the issue now? So not really anything remotely close to Spence vs Crawford where both hold belts that matter in thier respective divisions.

difference in your comparison is Spence has not fought at and has no title at 154. Davis holds a bs title at 140 and Ellerbe/Floyd have repeatedly bragged Davis holds belts at three weights and can fight at all three. Hope it gets made …Garcia instantly becomes by far the best fighter on Davis weak resume. All that being said - Davis by 9/10 rd Ko while trailing on the cards.

Ryan clearly stated in his post fight interview,he has outgrown the 135lb division and isn't moving back down. He called Tank a little hoe and said he's willing to be transparent about negotiations. Clearly he wants the fight as it's still the top 5 boxing match to be made,even at 140. Tank doesn't have any meaningful belts at 135,doesn't plan to fight any meaningful fights at 135 and has campaigned at 140.....so what's the problem?

Can't blame a fighter if he wants to stick with a higher weight. Too difficult making weight = worse performance in the ring.
IMO it would be a good fight to make vs Tank... but will it ever happen? Tough to say. I do think Tank would get the UD though.

Tank has already fought at 140 held or holds a belt. Looked bad against against Cruz was losing to un ranked rolly a guy with 14 fight never been in a main event before that. Tank fans so gullible tank is avoiding everyone in all divisions
