People seem to have this misconception that Ryan is a social media guy turned boxer lol but it's the other way around,, He's a life long boxer that got into social media.

If we're waiting to see if he's "legitimate" despite beating Luke more impressively than Loma and beating former champ Fortuna easier than anyone else has then we still have to wait and see if Tank and Haney are legitimate too they have yet to beat a great fighter.

I am aware he is legitimate, however a vast amount of viewers think that he is not really into the sport to accomplish anything of substance but rather improve his influence in the social media considering his massive following.

Like let's say Jake Paul or KSI who are influencers that are using boxing for those means.

He however has extensive amateur pedigree of 215-15 and was a 15x National Amateur Champion. First impressions are just difficult to change, and people will try to nitpick anything to make excuses, even the smallest of details are made out to be an argument just to discredit.
