That was crazy, 10 mil to Kambosos. I call it BS. Haney was robbed, only getting a meager 2.8 mil. Kambosos was a non-entity, still is, a bum. That crap is even less than a mandatory share. If he agreed to that for a second fight, Haney is a bitch. Screw the Greek Bum.

    Screw the corrupt belts.

Was the Australian government even involved in the first one? Nobody wants to see this snoozefest, anywhere. Why would the Australian government want a repeat of this garbage?

If true that's crazy. Haney did say he had to concede a lot to get the fight. Hopefully we don't get the second fight because Haney beat him so convincingly. But if they fight again Haney deserves to be compensated accordingly

On the one hand. I get it; Haney had to fly half-way around the world, take a pay concession AND agree to fly back to Australia to give Kambosos a rematch if he won. Devin did win and is now the A side and should be able to request more for the rematch. However, he did sign a contract in order to get the first fight. Now, if Kambosos's team agrees to amend said contract and pay Haney more for the rematch, that's their option. But they also have the option to refuse to make any changes to the already agreed to terms, which puts Haney in the position to decide whether he will honor or breach.

"At The End Of The Day", Haney did what Crawford should have done, which is accept B-Side, then go in there and make history.

We need to respeck fighters who do the right thing so they can truly become great.

Now, what 'CM Punk' needs to do is accept that he is now the B-Side and accept ALL of Haney's demands, then try his best to repeat the Teo performance.
real raw real raw likes this.

The bold: Not true at all. That's the biggest propaganda in boxing for the garbage belts. Haney was screwed over very badly for belts nobody wants. He's stuck with them. Deal wasn't equitable or fair. So, please miss me with the BS.

What history is Haney making? Nobody seems to care more.

Any fighter that fully unifies a division makes history, because it's rare.

                  But you know that already.

Fighters becoming champion, much less unified champion, is a dream for all of them.

Great fighters don't hold up promoters for "enough money to build a house in Beverly Hills...nice house". They accept ALL terms and do what they're trained to do on fight night.

YOU don't care about belts, that's you, you ain't in there. Fighters do care and will keep on caring.

But after winning the first fight he should be compensated fairly now. No more short money.
I presume his management would have thought of that before agreeing to the contract, otherwise they're not up to much.
I mean, usyk apparently is on a 50/50 split with Joshua for their rematch.

It's ok to include a rematch clause but it should be illegal to also include a forced purse.
                      Slave contract??
Andy ruiz earned 13 million dollars for his rematch with Joshua.
And usyk will make probably 40 million.
