Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Amir Khan.

    Who would have won?

I can't see Khan beating any version of Floyd. Khan might be fast, but he doesn't have the ring IQ to use his speed and reach, and his defense was terrible.

And before you say, "Khan only lost by KO, and Floyd isn't a hard puncher", SINCE WHEN do you need to be a hard puncher to hurt Khan? Limond, Gomez, Diaz and Vargas hurt and dropped him, and those guys couldn't crack an egg if they threw one against the wall. And don't say, "Prescott and Garcia were hard punchers", because neither of them knocked out anyone of note after knocking Khan out.

It doesn't matter at this point because Floyd could have made fights with the guy when he at least looked like a threat but just like with the better prime fighters in the welterweight division, Floyd was scared to go head with it.

Remember when Floyd's pops was saying he didn't want Khan to get a payday because Khan was calling Floyd out? Actually said he didn't want Khan to get a payday. What kind of ish is that.

Fast forward a couple of years and now we get these Floyd vs. Khan fantasy fight threads when the reality is Floyd could have fought the guy and we would not have to play the woulda coulda shoulda game.

Floyd hit hard enough to stop Hatton, he'd hit hard enough to stop Khan.

It would've been an interesting fight for 4-5 rounds. If pro boxing only lasted 3 rounds Khan would be a great fighter. But it lasts for 12 so it's just a matter of how long it takes Floyd to figure him out and start landing flush. Even if Khan lasted the distance, I think he'd lose a clear decision.

Khan was fast, but that's about all he had going for him.

Just speed isn't enough at the top level, and that's been proven in several of Khan's fights.

IMO, Khan was the Meldrick Taylor of his time.

The only real difference between Khan and Taylor is that Taylor had a better chin.

Floyd ducked Khan in order to fight Maidana, he lied to his fans, and made a mockery of them by picking Madonna

¿hEY GUYZ, I'm going to let the fans vote. Tell me who I should fight next. Khan or Maidana?

          https://twitter.com/FloydMayweather/...01948097490944

He made a public poll on his website

          Mayweather asked, and fans responded.

Amir Khan won the poll by a big ass margin, and Floyd still picked Maidana for his next match, showing the middlefinger to all the fans who voted

And he did all this while ducking Pacquiao, so he couldn't even give fans what they wanted as second best option

No wonder he'll always be remembered as a cherrypicker who never gave fans what they truly wanted

Mayweather by stoppage. Khan has the physical talents but he doesn't have the ring IQ. It would be a bootleg Mayweather vs Pacquiao type fight.

If Floyd would have beat all the guys he ducked he would be 70-0

When was this? When Amir Khan beat the ghost of Julio Diaz by 114-113? When he got knocked down by Luis Collazo? Did Khan have any notable wins at 147?

When were fast hands problem for Floyd? Only Judah gave him headache in the first rounds and then got ****d by effective pressure. Floyd by TKO.
