Why Are People Against Re hydration clauses?

Shouldn't fighters be fighting at the weight that's the weight of their weight class?

Why is it expected that fighters should be allowed to come in at a much a higher weight come fight night?

That would be ideal but making people weight in on fight day caused too many problems.
They now do it the day before and EVERYBODY tries to DEHYDRATE to make weight. The more you can dehydrate the more you will weigh on fight day. The reason they stopped same day weigh ins is due to medical issues during fights. Fighters would fight TOO DEHYDRATED. You cant do that. You could seriously hurt yourself of get
    seriously hurt in there.

Because it basically creates two weigh ins, at least for one fighter. Just bring back same day weigh ins if we want fighters facing people their own size.

If everybody has to do it for every fight, fair enough. But I don't agree with the current system where it's only used when an A side is trying to get an extra advantage.
