Comments Thread For: Joseph Parker vs. Otto Wallin Explored By BOXXER'S Shalom

Former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker is still hunting for an opponent for the fall. Parker recently signed a promotional agreement with BOXXER and Sky Sports. The New Zealand boxer was in action back in December, when he battered Derek Chisora over twelve rounds for a clear unanimous decision win in their rematch.

This is an unexpectedly good ass fight.
    Very meaningful crossroads fight.

Parker has options, Otto no so much, hes been begging for a big fight. PPl avoid him cus hes a difficult fight, can his team offer a high enough reward to entice. If Im parker Im looking at other options, unless they make me a offer I cant refuse.

Parker has no more options than anyone else. Make the fight, it's perfect for both.

Parker is a strange signing for Boxxer. They have few heavyweight options and are struggling to find fights that sell for him.

Parker/Wallin is a good fight for boxing fans though, we can see if Wallin is anything more than the guy who got Fury on an off night - but does it sell in the UK...? Definitely not headlining a card. But nice to see non-British fights in a British ring too - if they can make it viable.

I'd be interested in Parker Whyte II.

Parker Fury II is the more likely

Its an okay fight but "explored" means jack shyt as far as it actually happening. Too much boy who cried wolf with fights recently.

It depends on how he is used and what he is paid. He's known here enough to be a co-main event fighter against someone like Wallin, who is also known enough for such a spot as an opponent. It's definitely not a headline fight though, but if that was co-main, to a good main event, I'd be happy. Parker needs to know that he can't be in dull fights here, he has to work harder to attract fans with him not being English. Nash out.
