    GGG by miles.

Lemeiux (had) the special ability to put a ton of power in a very short shot - this allowed him to absolutely flatline lower-tier opponents who never saw that punch coming.

Every punch Golovkin throws is heavy.

Doesnt mean they don't punch very hard Canelo absorbed only what was landed, the right punch at the right time, generally the one they don't see can put anyone down, Canelo never got hit with it and has a great chin, GGG hits like a mule.

I bet if you set up a scientific test LEMIEUX would be able to rate the single hardest punch.
It’s no debate GGG is the better fighter. It’s just in questions like this when it’s not clear what parameters are set it gets messy.
Each fighter has two different hands. Different punches to rate. Different stamina over a fight. Consistency. Do they have to be at the same weight to measure?

If you put your hands behind your back and closed your eyes and had to pick one of them to hit you with their hardest shot… nobody would pick LEMIEUX. You all know that.

Golovkin is heavy handed with both hands but Lemiux has that one punch knock out power with his right hand. Either way I wouldn’t want to find out who’ll knock me to the third dimension first hand, I appreciate my life too much

Who's the best fighter GGG ever stopped? Overrated power imo. Heavy puncher but more of a breaking down type. Lemi has more 1 punch power.

His power is still good, it forces elite opponents to fight a different fight. It’s not as easy to land those heavy shots against the top guys.

He also tends to hurt or drop every guy he fights, even hurt Canelo at one point who has an elite chin.

Ggg is the one who used to have anecdotes of how hard he hit. Lemiux not so much. But without volunteering to hold pads for them I don't know
