That is crazy man, Benn is welterweight, he should fight guys in his own weight class. Don`t be like Brook.

He will have proven he can beat a B-level middleweight, but his place in the 147 rankings would stay the same, at least in my eyes.

Right now he's an up-and-coming welterweight who is below guys like Ennis, Ortiz, Staniosis, Crowley, and that would still be the case if he wins. Even more so if it's 156lb catchweight because people would say Eubank was drained.

He was protected. Now he's cashing out.

I don’t think so. The only people saying it are newspapers that are pretty much untrustworthy

Why is he below Ortiz jr. or Ennis? Who the hell has Ennis fought?

Ortiz has fought the best competition out of them and it's hard to question that. Ennis has a thin resume but he's avoided.

None of them have great resumes but Ortiz is about to fight an eliminator. Ennis just won one and is now number 1 with the IBF. Benn's team don't seem to think he's ready for that and I'd agree. That's why he has only faced past-prime opposition. That's why instead of facing a dangerous welterweight to prove himself, he's cashing out.

Ennis is faster than Benn, better upper body movement, he has a wider variety of shots, better technique, and hits harder. I couldn't imagine Ennis or Ortiz getting taken the distance by Granados. Didn't get dropped and almost finished by a random French journeyman either.

Id pick Eubank to win. Hes got his dads chin. Why is Benn smaller than his dad nigel benn was? Sons usually get bigger than theyre dad?
