I don't think even Mexico would allow it.

The US directive against the 'Kinahans and their associates' has the force of international law (5 mil bonus). The 'associates list' is now a feature of Interpol (means International Police). They better forget about traveling in North America, or maybe anywhere, for now.

Not sure about the UK either, unless it is between two local promoters. US businesses (especially the promoters) are not allowed to do business with them or even profit from it indirectly. In criminal law, this is called a 'criminal facilitation.' To simplify for you in cases like this, it means: 'We can't do it here legally, so we'll take it there, where it's legal.' This is illegal. Not only in the US.

Let me give you an example: If Top Rank (via Warren) makes Joshua-Fury, Top Rank cannot profit from it (and Warren/Hearn may become a person of interest to the FBI for that). That money can be seized as the proceeds of a crime. Depending on the offence (in this case, max of 10 years) with hefty fines and seizure of all you own.

    People better tread lightly.

That's also why the BS Jake Paul 'fight' was just a dummy talk.

Julio Cesar Martinez should've been stripped of his title for pulling out of defending his title twice against McWilliam Arroyo.
Then Mcwilliam Arroyo, and the highest ranked contender that was available should've been fought for the vacated title.

See this is why Hearn is a joke.
He has guys he can feed at this weight to Jesse Rodriguez, but he lets his feelings get to him and instead he protects them from his more bankable and much better asset.
Instead of feeding him Kyoguchi, Nakatani, or Edwards, he has them fighting bums thinking he can sell them here.
Now that hes waited him out of the division for Kyoguchi, now that Kyoguchis in the clear, he needs to find ways to stall so Rodriguez doesn't disintegrate his flyweight guys, his “cool” novelty Japanese guy and his fellow briton, whose fight result would break his “hort”.

The garabage fight against Israel Gonzalez is a perfect example of Hearn sabotaging to put his eggs in the wrong basket and choosing not to correct course.

I fancy Edwards to win this one if the match up is made, Martinez can get outboxed as Selby and Chocolotito have shown. Hopefully it gets made.

This is the problem in boxing casuals fans like this ... winning at home is easier in every other sport at least these "Euro bums" travel unlike American bums who build home fighter records .. like Roy Jones in his prime ... "tell it like it is US" .. think about it Roy Jones could have been a true world champion

Imagine if someone tried this in tennis, golf, athletics ... only in boxing

If it can't be staged in the USA then how about staging in in neutral Spain? There should be plenty of British expats/tourists & Mexican loving spainiards, so surely it's the perfect 2nd choice.

That's why I hate the crooked belt orgs and their 'for sale' rankings with a passion.
Edwards is a better boxer. Admittedly, he couldn't crack an egg, so whether he can keep JCM off him for 12 rounds is another matter, but I wouldn't be surprised if he built up a big lead on the cards. Edwards is also a world champion himself, so I'm not sure where your comment comes from? What's this got to do with rankings?

And I'm not too sure that I remember Julio Cesar being able to cut off a ring against a mobile opponent like 'Rat-Boy' Sunny Edwards ; it took Martinez ten rounds to drop that English-Bum Jay Harris. The more I ponder about this fight, it's looking like Sunny might have a shot of running away with the WBC and IBF titles.

Now the variable to consider is that Sunny is defending away from home, can he take a counter from Martinez? If his chin holds, he will likely be leading and outboxing Martinez...hmm.
                    Jay Harris is from Wales.
