I see Manny is getting a bit of positive traction for doing or wanting to do exhibitions, but when Floyd does one he's denigrating the sport, he's broke, he's gambled it all away, his ego, yadda yadda.

Floyd fought everybody either at their best or went after them during their best and Manny did the exact opposite, but somehow is loved by all. How crazy backwards is that?

Wait until they looked cracked or had recent big losses, this was the formula for Manny's entire career since MAB/Morales fights and the fans love him for it. What a world we live in!

    Are you actually surprised?

The double standard between these two fighters has been extremely evident for the last 15 years.

Its not a double standard there.

Both the characters that Manny and Floyd portrayed in public, first the humble one and then the villain who loves money. Why would you be surprised what they receive back?

I'm not keeping tabs on that, but I see several posters happy with Manny doing exhibitions.

It is literally, by definition, the epitome of a double standard.

It’s ok for one and not the other.

It couldn’t be more a double standard.

Is this another one of those woe is me life isn't fair threads.

Stop speading a false narrative. FLOYD fought the worst guys at their best (Guerrero, Madonna, Ortiz) and the best guys at their worst (Cotto, Shane, Manny)
He doesn't have anyone to blame but himself for the little respect he gets.

If you Floyd boys would have held Floyd to a higher standard instead of defending him ducking and cherrypicking over and over, you cats would care less what Manny does with his career.
