So what does Joshua Buatsi do now?

No title shot and not a lot of interesting fights available.

I think they should look to make the Callum Smith fight for later this year. Think that does well domestically. How well though I don’t know.

This. 100%. Great fight, I got Callum by KO too but think it would be a war regardless.

Jean Pascal. Obviously past his prime, but I think he can still present a challenge.

I agree but Callum Smith is in a final eliminator next.

Buatsi is not ready for Bivol or Beterbiev. I think it is better for him to fight some more fringe level guys.

This probably isn't feasible, but I wonder if, based on their positions in the rankings, Buatsi and Smith could be made as a joint WBO and WBC final eliminator, after Yarde gets his shot as WBO mandatory against Beterbiev? Their positions in the rankings are really good. Buatsi is 2nd in the IBF as well with 1st vacant.

The rankings seem to suggest they'll get their shot at some point, so maybe Eddie won't be keen to put them in together.
