    DAZN UK Commentary

Apparently from now on UK will have Daren Barker and Mike Costello instead of Sergio Mora/Chris Manix/Todd.

Personally I'm not a big fan of either group but out of the 5 I enjoy Sergio Mora the best . So I'm glad US is sticking to that team . Imo UK commentary is the most biased and boring of em all. Just my opinion tho

I like Mora as a commentator as well. I know they aren't perfect, he says some random stuff - but overall he's excitable and he's got a good sense of the prospect levels and matchmaking. He can drum up interest in those "little" fights

Sometimes they have this guy Chris Lloyd on with Todd and Sergio and I thought he fit in nicely. I don't know his background but he was in-tune with the action in the ring

I think he did the recent Buatsi-Richards fight too.

        - - If you're listening to vacuous commentary, you must not like or understand boxing, the whole reason boxing remains unflushed in the toilet of what used to be The Major Sport of Sports.

I prefer the UK set up. Mannix and Grisham are terrible. Mike Costello is really good IMO, not sure him and Barker have great chemistry though. I’d love to see them use Barry Jones more.

            No mention of Andy Lee?

Mora has improved quite a bit since he first started, he's more comfortable and flows better.

I don't dislike Mannix but he does come off a bit condescending and bitter. Grisham is just a generic play by play type guy who doesn't seem to know the sport well.

On the UK side, I like Andy Lee's commentary but he doesn't speak loud and sometimes he doesn't at all...getting drown out by Barker.

Barry Jones is one of my favourites too. I really dislike Barker though. Man loves the sound of his voice and he just drones on and on.

I'm actually surprised to hear DAZN didn't have their own commentary team for the UK when they launched over there.

Mora and Mannix are great not a great fit for the UK market... especially going against the excellent, high profile Sky team.

Barry’s really good, he’s always impartial too, you never hear him pushing the company narrative. I don’t rate Barker either, nice enough fella but never really says anything insightful IMO.
