I was a huge Taylor fan up until I saw how arrogant and disrespectful he was in the lead up to the Caterall fight and his reaction to winning a fight he clearly lost. Josh has no control over the judging (to my knowledge) but he should've at least given Jack his due respect after the world saw how well Caterall performed and the robbery that took place.
I don't know if it's a result of Taylor being trained by Davison or if Josh's ego is just out of control but he wasn't the same person or fighter before, during and after the Caterall fight. He needs to get his head straight, stop thinking of himself as some sort of boxing god who is unbeatable and get back to taking his opponents seriously otherwise he is in for a rude awakening and a downward spiral. Anyone can lose a fight, I don't fault him for that but he needs to accept reality and stop acting like he's untouchable.

Only from a haters perception. Surely calling him out, which you've just stated, runs contrary to that.

I'm pretty sure he did give Catterall his due respect. In fact he's stated that, although he believes he done enough to edge it, if he'd lost he'd be gutted at losing his titles, but would have accepted it, as it was a close fight. So what part of that did you interpret as, not giving him his due respect. I seriously doubt you were a huge Taylor fan.

He had various things that badly hampered his camp. And he wasn't truly motivated. He said they weren't an excuse and that he was just ****e on the night. In a rematch things will be different. The various things that hampered his camp will not be there. His weight making and motivation issues will be remedied. So I'm expecting a considerable performance improvement. If he can't deliver, then he deserves the criticism. But as of now, he's had one bad fight, and everyone now has him as this overrated poor fighter lol. Even the best have an off night.

“Get your finger out your ass, man,” Taylor said, “and hopefully we can get this fight on.”
First, Jack Catterall has to remove his boot out of your ass 'Tartan-TornA$$hole'.

I would recommend that Jack Catterall demand VADA anti-doping now that the 'Tart-Tomato' has vacated the WBC : it is my understanding that due to the fact that the WBC still recognizes Taylor as the IBF and WBO champion, that Josh is not ranked by the World Boxing Council nor does he have to participate in their Anti-doping program any longer.

Josh Taylor has ducked Alberto Puello, Jose Zepeda and is also ducking the WBC Clean-Boxing-Program. Now I know that some of you nitwits will call me crazy -- in spite of the fact that all my 'conspiracies-theories' have been confirmed to be FACTS.

I hate Josh doing this. If he has outgrown 140, & all the evidence suggests he has, then trying to boil down one more time won't/can't end well. He should take a decent w/w (Ekow Essumann jumps to mind) & then, if he gets through that, go after the winner of Crawford v Spence. Remember that Boots is coming up on the outside &, much as I love & admire Josh, I don't think he takes Boots. I don't think Spence does either. Crawford IDK, that man is class but he ain't getting any younger.
