So anyone not falling in line with what Hearn says are invested in particular promoters….except for the people who lockstep with Hearn. Ahh, makes total sense…

As far as I know the fights on dazn for the usa since Sky doesn’t show fights in America. But then olawufemi’s market is British fans, always has been. His fights on showtime had low viewership. American fans never took to him like they did Lennox Lewis, Wayne McCullough, Tyson fury, hamed etc etc

Do you know what I'm getting at here.
I don't think the investment is in AJ really. AJ was almost KO'd at the end of the last fight. Anybody who follows the sport understands that AJ, despite his accomplishments and physical attributes, could well be beaten by any Top 10 heavyweight on any given night. You just can't prop a guy up in boxing. I think this is very simply about the prestige of a HW championship fight.

Who cares who’s broadcasting it, I’m watching it regardless. The details of business dealings and contracts of broadcasters/fighters/promoters is meaningless to me. I hope the fighters make as much money as possible and all the big fights get made. You’re a bit of a sad act if you support/hate promoters like a sports team and care about who the A side in a negotiations!

He said long term, but how long does Joshua still want to fight, after making so much money?

If he loses badly to Usyk, there are fights out there for him, but I don't think there are many big fights.

Saudis have sold only the UK rights to Sky Sports, Rest of the world rights are still pending. Saudis have paid 100 Million dollars for AJ-Usyk-2 and want to recover as much as they can to reduce the final cost to them.

he worries too much about what other promoters are doing, he doesn't focus on his own sh^t

no way you can tell me DAZN is happy that after signing AJ to an exclusive deal, his next fight is on SKY so if he lose (which I think he will personally) he goes over to DAZN will have No Belts and Less Value

DAZN got outbid for the fight. That's on DAZN.

It’s a business first and foremost. Whoever has most $ will usually win. But DAZN has less than zero profile in USA. Nation of 320M. It’s the pot of gold for anyone with a product. Looking ahead they have to compete with all the other emerging streaming services for events.
