I have never seen or detected that within Deontay Wilder. Not in any of the Fury fights, not even the second fight. If Wilder has not been knocked out, he is always trying to blast you out.

Wilder was battered in the second Fury fight, but at no point did he give up on himself. He was not legitimate knocked out, and was fighting back at the time of the stoppage.

Yes I heard somebody say, to fight Wilder is like marching towards propeller blades. Apart of your being is going to want to go backwards or hesitate.

I think boxing fans these days, now more than ever. Think they are watching some sort of computer game.

When you are a man inside a ring with Deontay Wilder, Mike Tyson or any of these past and present fighters who people have tried to play down.

Just imagine the internal war that will be going on inside their minds.

When Tyson Fury beat Deontay Wilder, he had to show immense amounts of courage. Fury was not just facing Wilder, he was facing terror itself.

Muhammad Ali when he faced off with George Foreman was in he same situation.

Chisora I think has the attitude to face that type of terror, and move towards it. But I don't know whether he has the conditioning, and durability 'He will definitely have to train like never before'.

It is still unclear what form Wilder is in, so that could maybe even things out.

Note: If Wilder comes back, and starts blasting out people again. It will be interesting to see where he takes that momentum. Is he going for titles or just business etc.

    This post is absurd .

At no time was Ali in any situation Fury was with Wilder .

Ali actually toyed with Foreman let him tire on the ropes and made him look like an amateur and then did a number on him while only taking body shots not flush head shots it was actually a one sided fight where Ali won before the bell rang .

It was actually Foreman who had to dig deep because he was fading with doing minimal damage and hoping he landed a knockout blow as he was losing stamina rapidly that’s why it didn’t last to long after mid rounds . Ali was never in danger of losing the Foreman fight and Fury was closer to losing to Wilder but it was a stretch, not sure why you keep pushing that narrative .

Fury never had to actually dig deep in any of the Wilder fights as he was never actually put down where he wasn’t able to brush it off and assume winning rounds . It was as lopsided a trilogy can be without winning by knockout every time .

Well said. To comment on your first point, I was a big David Tua supporter at one point. I told my family to get on the band wagon. They were more reserved than I was. When he fought Lewis, that first round, I think it was Kellerman screaming there will be a new champion. Lewis with his experience, savvy, and all the other terms you can use to describe him changed the narrative soon enough. Once Tua took some real stiff jabs and got painted with a right hand, he could see how high the mountain was to climb in front of him. He’s no 6’7” tower like Wilder mind you. He had a killer left hook though. Still I remember that reversal. It wasent a great fight by any account. Still I remember seeing that confidence evaporate out of Tua.
Wilder fights till the last drop, and I totally appreciate it. I don’t like some of the comments he’s made or trashing his trainer who as far as I can tell only had his interest at heart. Still that sort of stuff isn’t that unusual in boxing.
I always thought he’d KO AJ. I think he’s an exciting fighter and will get eyes no matter who he fights. If he’s done with the sport that’s his choice and he doesn’t owe anyone to keep going. That being said id still love to see him fight AJ, Usyk, even Ruiz if he’s not done either.
Oh and it was so embarrassing in the last fight of the trilogy when the announcer after reading a tweet from Joe Rogan that because Wilder kept touching his right glove with his other hand that it might be broken. Everyone knows ( should ) that Wilder does that as a tick in all his fights. The boxer commentating set everyone straight. I should remember the names involved. Am I remembering this correctly? Anyway I just found that so lame.

people can't be serious bout Wilder vs Chisora

I respect Chisora heart and toughness but that stationary style gets him brutal knocked out you people are absolutely INSANE not only that but it really doesn't do anything for Wilder honestly

He would be better off Fighting Charles Martin or Johnnie Rice if we're asking him to fight Chisora in 2022 LMFAO

Wilder ducked Chisora once and I believe he will duck him again - even this shopworn version.

You've got to remember that Wilder didn't win a round in both Ortiz fights and was dominated by Fury three times.

I admire Wilders heart, but he ain't got much else and his power is overrated IMO. Chisora is more skilful.

Chisora has been in with bigger punchers than Wilder.

I don`t know what to tell you. Chisora is old gatekeeper, he was in many wars, usyk and Parker also should have no problems with him, but they had.

If Wilder doesn`t land a clean shot on Chisora, he is in trouble.

I think Del Boy would walk into a right hand and get KTFO very quickly tbh.

That's a shame. I want ddd to fight someone who has a punch, and can punch back, rather than just lay on canvas
