If DAZN over paid for that fight why would they make money on limited subs in the U.K
A.J makes more money with sky’s fan base in the U.K this is no different from his normal procedure . DAZN loses out on some subscriptions in that region but gaining and losing that massive amount of money is not sensible, did you guys read the article ? 25 million to win that bid . If Hearn won that they’re actually talk about any firing of him .

If Sky have bid 25 million then good on them. No-one could really compete with that. If DAZN beat that bid they'd be throwing money away.
Presumably they'll pick up the fight in other geographies.

Somebody explain this to me. Aj signs deal with hearn and dazn, they sell the rights to the saudis, then SKY massively over pay for the fight, well that profit goes to the saudis then right ? ?
and Sky keep all the ppv money because they already bought the entire thing with no deal direct with AJ ?
is that it ?

I liked Dazn a lot for the first little while. They had lots of cards and I found the undercards decent for the most part. Loved the fight/round select option and the fact that it was essentially on demand as soon as the broadcast started. Nice catalog of old fights to. One only needed to get past the awful broadcast team and there was a lot of upside.
What an absolute dumpster fire now though. I was ok with 100 Canadian for a year, but then they lost bellator cut boxing by seemingly 70% and nobody wants to cross the street to make fights with them.
