Somehow I have a feeling Jake Paul might actually evolve to be a good boxer... I didn't think much of Tyson Fury when he was punching himself in the face, but things change...

Having seen Rahman Jr fight, he's pretty bad. So yes he's a professional boxer, but Jake is picking and choosing. Good for him.

Rahman junior may not be the greatest but for a fighter with less than half a dozen fights into his career, Paul is stepping up huge in class of opposition. He's fighting a 12-1 son of a former champion. Sure there's a weight clause but it's still a risky fight.

Seems to me he is facing a true pro boxers with more pro and amateur fights. If he wins this then he is a legitimate prospect. We already know he has heavy hands and his speed is on point. There are other fighters who went on to great careers without significant amateur pedigree. Anthony Mundine comes to mind
