Here's the absolute truth about both fighters.
Terence Crawford:
- high iq boxer (iq is a little overrated)
-very quick feet
- solid power (shots are sharper and crisper more than they're heavy)
- suspect defense (gets hit pretty cleanly, pretty often)
- competent switch hitter (though uses southpaw as a "last resort" when Orthodox isn't working)
- amazing ability to adapt in the ring
- amazing counterpunching ability (I mean this guy's ability to counterpunch is ridiculous)
- great determination and grit (this is inarguable)
- suspect chin
- limited inside game (credit: Punch on Tap)
- okay head movement (though still does get hit often)
Errol Spence:
- solid iq boxer (higher iq than most give him credit for)
- slow feet
- applies great pressure
- very heavy handed
- knows how to stick to gameplay (wouldnt say he adjusts very well)
- underrated boxing ability (though Bud is definitely more dynamic)
- strong heavy jab
- great chin (he got hit with 2 flush unprepared/unseen shots from Ugas and didn't go down, look at Mayweather vs. Victor Ortiz)
-solid defense (not amazing defense but not terrible for someone who comes forward)
-Subtle head movement, but generates effective angles (credit: Punch on Tap)
- Great Body Puncher (credit: PRINCEKOOL)
I'm sure there's more things I could I add, but here just some un-ordered truths on both fighters.
