Going off on a bit of a tangent here but Chad could’ve/should’ve been a special fighter IMO, I thought he had everything, speed, power, accuracy, athleticism, technical ability etc. He was one of those guys I was always hoping could just put it all together but it never seemed to happen, we only saw flashes of the fighter he could have been IMO.
Agree. Dawson should have been a pound got pound mainstay for years but he never fulfilled his potential. His issues were always mental - lapses in concentration, poor external decisions such as agreeing to go to 168 for Ward and at times just a sheer lack of consistency/laziness.

gvozdyk was not even close defensively.

and he's also a walker. not a bouncer like Bivol, he's like Pacman.

the thing with Bivol is he has extremely fast feet. he has the best defensive rating in all of boxing. Beterbiev wouldn't land his power much.
Fast feet don't matter against Beterbiev, Beterbiev is ambidextrous essentially. Bivol gets worked.

He's right, Beterbiev is elite and is a special talent.

          He'll smash Bivol to bits.

I don`t know, I like both guys, but I do believe Bivol can beat him.

              canelo is also faster.
Beterbiev is so much more aggressive and heavy-handed at the weight than what Canelo is and is 4 inches taller than Canelo with an inch longer reach than Bivol.

Canel didn't belong at 175 giving away so many physical advantages, that's not the case with Beterbiev its a totally different fight.

A couple of months ago a sizeable number of the forum were saying Canelo would beat Bertebiev

I'm just saying chill the eff out.
                Yeah, people must calm down.

2 months ago Beterbiev was something like Russian bum Canelo would beat easily.

Now he knocks everybody out, including Bivol, because he beat Smith jr. The man who already lost to Bivol also.

                  Fast feet is everything

You can't lay a glove on prime Mayweather and Ali because of this. Jfl

                    Speed > dimensions

Which why Canelo been successful so far.

                    Canelo is faster than beterbiev

beterbiev was the underdog for that fight
