That's as may be but the WBA should have thought of that, before they put Barroso at no 2 . He's there in their eyes on merit for winning the gold title. Akhmedov didn't win the gold title, so that's why he was lower down. Just purely on the basis that he is the former champ, and is clearly more deserving in terms of his resume and being ranked the best boxer in the world after Taylor. And on the basis that he has no real chance to get higher, because he didn't have a promoter to buy a higher ranking for him. He's more deserving on a legit non corrupt basis.

I respect your opinion Rodtang, and appreciate your professional response on this platform, which at times is deplorable if not disgraceful.
That said I do believe this fight is two or three fights from being signed, if they don't suffer a defeat along the way.
I don't see that happening to either one of them in the near future, as they're among the cream of the crop in the 140 pound division.
I'm pretty sure that we'll be talking about this particular fight again in the near future, if not in 2022, then for certain in 2023.
