He had a very good 140 run and fought the best at 147 but lost to all of them. He made the most of his limited ability.

But Quartery isn't in the Hall of Fame; Pacquiao's record needs no defense so I'll leave that one completely alone.

There are some fighters in the HOF that I don't think are deserving but mostly they are big punching, exciting fighters...fan favorite types.

Beating Khan isnt historic...just like Prescott beating Khan turned out to be not that big a deal. Garcia had a better career than most, but every top welter beat him up. If all the top welterweights beat him, the junior middles are going to murder him.

He's a gatekeeper - he can fight some but he just isn't HOF-worthy.

We need to get realistic on the criteria. It's not about wins and losses. It's about what you left in the ring en route to your retirement.

Thus why someone like Sven Ottke (undefeated) isn't in but Manny Pacquiao (multiple losses) is.

Danny Swift made history when he beat Khan. That cannot be taken from him.

Whether he'll succeed at 154 is a different story - but the guy at least is a warrior.

Danny Garcia better start letting his hands go, and throw punches in combination, if he intends on returning to the boxing ring.
I mean what is he afraid of gassing out, you've got to throw more than one or two punches at a time in order to be successful at the championship level.

He beat better competition at 140 compared to Crawford though?

            Not happening

his signature win is an overhyped Lucas Matthysse

first fight with shot morales was really close despite the wide score cards, shot fat morales had no business at 140 and was landing on younger garcia and outboxing him most of the fight

Anyone who becomes a lineal champion makes history, bro. Very few actually do.

Danny Swift became lineal when he beat Khan, who was lineal. That was arguably his biggest win next to Matthysse.

Some of you guys need to stop trying to rewrite history.

Shouldn't have to do this for you.

The man is in a regional Hall of Fame.

And with Manny you straight up deflected. You said a guy can't be a HOFer with losses. Manny has losses. You got caught out. Stop deflecting.

Since you want to be nitpicky Azumah Nelson is in the IBHOF, he has losses. Now what?

Bottom line: IT'S NOT ABOUT LOSSES. It's about what you gave to boxing, and Khan is right up there in the future. Guaranteed.
